Stage 4

One thing is for sure the next stage/ride is just a sleep away. We have to keep reminding ourselves that this is a race designed for professionals. Bed was at 9:00pm. Completely zonked until 4:00am then just relaxing. Today is going to be hot again, not a cloud in the sky. We are on a nice bus to the start though.

I should have more time to catch up tonight.

I have relatives nearby in Verdun and Nancy - I should have drummed them out to wave along the route. Are you getting any attention as you ride through villages and towns? (maybe you have your head down and don't notice). I guess larger groups of cyclists are a more common sight in France than they are here. The mountain stages are obviously popular with cyclists having a go at the route before the Tour, but do you have any company on these northern stages?

Been trawling social media to find pictures and was concerned that I did not see you in a food stop photo. I now learn from the Twitter feed of another rider that it is a rule of Le Loop that no one leaves the food stop to start off again, until all riders re-group. What a team!
